BANK 201: Introduction to Banking: (3-0-3) The theory and practice of banking and its prospects for the future. Topics include current issues such as globalization, technological advancements, changes in branch banking, various performance measures of banks, structure-conduct-performance and relative efficiency models, quantitative models to estimate the determinants of bank failures and strategy models in a banking context. (Prerequisite ACCT 201)
