FINC 521: Financial Reporting & Control: (3-0-3) This course covers regulations and techniques relevant to financial reporting and control. The focus is on fundamental concepts in financial reporting and control, innovative techniques, verification and interpretation of financial statements, limitations of company reports, practices, fraudulence and inconsistencies. Financial Management and Control also aims to develop an appreciation of the contribution of financial management and control to organisational effectiveness and to provide an understanding of global issues and multinational activities in an international environment. (Prerequisite FINC 501)
