ITCS 303: Computation and Algorithms: (3-0-3) This course aims to develop an ability to choose appropriate algorithms in solving practical problems and develop a fundamental understanding of issues concerned with computation and algorithms. Students will learn how: to describe classic sorting, searching, and graph traversal algorithms; to describe and to analyse characteristics of algorithms; and to develop appropriate algorithms to solve practical problems. (Prerequisite: ITCS 223)
