ITCS 308: Mobile Technologies Studio: (3-0-3) The course first provides a recapitulation of architecture of mobile e-systems and services with a view to furthering students’ understanding and practical ability in the design and integration of these systems and services. Students then develop the skills needed to build a wireless application for mobile and handheld devices whether online or offline using synchronization. The major focus of the students’ studio work concerns a practical application of a mobile e-system which involves the deployment of an application using a wireless gateway service as well as the integration of the application into an existing enterprise framework.
