ITCS 412 Mobile Internet Technology: (3-0-3) This course introduces students to the mobile systems principles. It covers the following engineering aspects of mobile systems: multi-user environment, system capacity, concepts of frequency reuse and channel allocation algorithms, public and private mobile systems, cellular systems, high capacity analogue and digital systems, signalling and protocols issues, signal issues, signalling and hand-over techniques. (Prerequisite: ITCS 322)
