ITCS 594: Multimedia Information Superhighways: (3-0-3) Leading industrialised nations are now involved in the implementation of their national information superhighway. Implementation is a fusion of development in four spheres: (1) Communications and protocols, (2) Hardware receivers and transmitters, (3) Information infrastructure, and (4) Consumer services and applications. Through this course, students develop knowledge and skills in the implementation and evaluation of national multimedia superhighways.
