MAGT 592: Managing Individuals and Organizations: (3-0-3) The aim of this module is to highlight the importance of understanding and managing people in organisations. There are three key interlocking areas of study in the module. Organisational Behaviour (OB) is concerned with ideas about people in organizations. Human Resource Management (HRM) focuses on strategies for, and the practice of, managing employees, including planning, resourcing, leadership, involvement and participation, training and culture, whilst topics from the wide field of Interpersonal Behaviour and Business Skills (IBBS) will require you to understand, evaluate and reflect on yourself and others.
