PHTH 303: Therapeutic Modalities I: (2-2-3) This is a detailed course in the theory and applications of electrotherapy treatment modalities. The course includes types, indications, contra-indications and physiological effects of ultrasound therapy, SWD, low and medium frequency currents, TENS, hydrotherapy and bouncy theory, spinal traction applications, therapeutic heat applications, and other electrotherapy applications. The course includes a practical modules that ensure the orientation of the students with different types of such modalities. (Prerequisite PHTH 105)
