In the School of Banking and Finance, Dr. Ahmed Gharayba, commencing Term 1 (Fall Semester) of Academic Year 2003-2004, will be conducting coursework and training in the field primarily of banking and finance and Dr. Richard Cummings, who joined the faculty effective July 1, will providing coursework and training in the areas of commercial and international law - each with the rank of Assistant Professor. In the School of Mathematical Sciences and Information Technology, Dr. Zahide Yilbas, will shortly be joining the faculty of Ahlia in the capacity of Assistant Professor. Dr. Yilbas specializes in computer science. Dr. Kilash Madan, Professor of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research, will also add his considerable academic wherewithal to the School. Two full-time lecturers will further swell the ranks of the teaching staff. Adel Saidi will teach courses in economics in general and econometrics in particular in the School of Banking and Finance. Charles Price, who primarily will provide English language training, will join the Department of Foreign Languages.
