Ahlia University participated in the 2nd International Training, Management and Human Resource Development Conference and Exhibition (HRD 2004) organized by the Bahrain Society of Training Development at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre. The Exhibition, which took place on 13th-15th of December 2004, attracted many delegates from Bahrain as well as other GCC countries. “Through this Exhibition, Ahlia University sought to attract key officials who are responsible for human resource development in their respective companies and organizations,” said Prof. Abdulla Y. Al-Hawaj, President of Ahlia University. In its endeavor to provide high quality education, locally, Ahlia University, through participation in special exhibitions like the HRD 2004, strives to maintain excellent links with the business community, in the Gulf in general and in Bahrain in particular, with a view to facilitating placement of its graduates.

Visitors enquired about academic programmes offered by Ahlia University and showed keen interest. Minister of State and Tender Board Chairman Dr. Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza visited the Ahlia University stand along with several other delegates. Prof. Abdulla Y. Al-Hawaj gave a hearty welcome to the Minister at the stand and explained to him the mission of Ahlia University. The Exhibition is expected to attract more students to study at Ahlia University.
